What options have folks found for Cat shields for the 2023 Sequoia? My preference is something beefy that can be used as a proper skid plate. There are many cat shields designed for 2022 Tundra out of flat 3/32" aluminum, but I would rather have a proper 1/4" aluminum with ribs / reinforced design.

The most obvious solution is the CBI Rear Overland Skid, but it requires the full front skid. I am getting the TRD Pro, which has the OEM TRD Front Skid, so if I have to I will swap them out, but would prefer to minimize extra purchase. I did confirm that it specifically requires their CBI front skid for mounting.

A good Tundra skid/cat shield is the Talon design for 2022/2023 Tundra. There is a great thread on Tundras.com about cat shield options, wondering if anyone here knows of any differences between the two undercarriages such that a Tundra shield wouldn't fit the Sequoia?

In case anyone comes across this thread in the future, I answered my own question. The 2023 Sequoia has the same configuration as the Tundra Hybrid between and including the engine and tranny crossmembers. I specifically installed the Talon skid plate/cat shield and it worked great, and I'd assume any others would just as well. It also worked just fine with the TRD OEM Skid plate, just had to flatten the tab that holds the skid in place during install.

Once you get past the tranny crossmember, I believe the fuel tank is a different config, being closer and tighter to the tranny due to the reduced length, so any full body skids would need to be Sequoia-specific.
