3FE Head or 3FE needed

I seem to only post when I need something...

My wife drove the 80 around for about a week with the temp at the bottom of the red. Now when the t-stat opens it boils the water out of the radiator.
I'll be amazed if the head survived.

Anyone have a head or a complete 3FE they want to get rid of?

Too bad it's not a 2-f. I've got a head for one of those. Good luck on gettin' head. You could just have it milled, that's what they say works anyway.

All my projects keep getting delayed. Now, they are delayed even more.

It's looking good. I ordered a set of rims from Discount tire, paid for them, then the clerk promptly forgot to actually order them. Do'h! I still have to put a proper driveshaft in it, but overall it's really well. I am in the process of finding a block I can rebuild just so I can have a fresh motor. I'm toying with the idea of building a custom radiator mount so I can try out the OEM Engine driven fan. The electric is ok, but I don't like how hot it gets sometimes. That could be other issues causing it, but I think it's the Derale electric fan not cooling all of the way. Ehh, overall I'd do it again and again. I love the 350 in there. It's a real grin to drive now instead of an embarrassment. No more mosquito fogger though, that was a nice feature of that old 2F. Bahahaha!

Nice! I'm glad you are having fun with it. What rims did you get? I liked the way the FJC rims looked on it.

I found a 3FE out of ohio. what a pain...they seem to be getting hard to find. It seems like just a few years ago folks couldn't give them away. Bolt in that gives you EFI I guess.

The good part is; now I have all the extra's to build a 2FE without having to tear down a car.
