Alright guys tell me what yall think/ would do. I'm debating between 33's and 35's (hint the title). Just to give yall some background I live in Columbia SC, and go to school at Clemson. I have an 85 fj60 and would wheel it about 40% of the time and the other 60% daily driver (it is the only car I drive). Previous upgrades have been new stereo and speakers, v8 conversion, and just completed its first paint job. Now next on my to do list is to get that thing up in the air and some bigger rubber underneath it. I defiantly want to stay sua and therefore considering either 33's with an ome lift or, 35's with an alcan lift. Now my question is what would you go with as well as brand of lift kits yall would choose.

Thanks for your comments Jared

Are you going to regear your differential? I think you will need to if you go 35's. You may also end up replacing other drive train components when they break, depending what type of off highway driving you are doing.

I think a lot of people are running 33's with the stock drive train and don't have many problems. You will enjoy the "free" overdrive, but your first gear will be pretty tall.
