Well, it looks like I'm going to go ahead and try to get a 3-link swapped into the front of the cruiser between the wheelin trips on the 6-8 of Aug and the 24-26 of September. Right now I'm planning on doing all the work in springfield at my parents, if that winds up being the case, you guys are welcome to come pay a visit and check out the project.

Nice, look forward to seeing that!

Let us know when.

will do! I hope to have a ballpark idea of when all the parts will be in next week, then hope to start after the wheelin trip on the 6th of August. I figure it will take 2 to 3 weekends to do, but I'm giving myself 5 to do it.

well.. slight change in plans... decided to wait til this winter to do it... going to install an OME heavy lift for now...

We can help with that also. You need to rent the strut removal tool from orielly. Its free as long as you bring it back.

Yep---you can...you will need to remove the sway bar if you have it still on

It makes it allot easier when you compress the springs vs. putting them in fully extended. Plus you don't have to raise your Rig as high up in the air.

Its much easier with the strut tool. The spring removal tool they have is not big enough. The strut works great. They will charge you about $90 to take the tool but will give it all back when you return it. As marty said. You dont have to lift nearly as high with the tool.

Definitely easier....I am used to doing things the hard way. Doing things the hard way builds character!:bang:
