Working on the fender. I was about to start welding on the lower patch that I made when I thought this brace should be investigated first. It was just held on by the crimped fender skin at this point, so I hammered it loose. There was zero evidence of rust behind here.
I have decided to remove every part on the body that has metal-to-metal contact. So, basically everything. Im almost there anyway, so even if it looks clean, I'm disassembling it.

D Pillar top corner repair. This piece was completely wasted from rust, so I made a new one. Looks good, and now I am welding it on. I will trim and bend the top afterwards so it's accurate and meets the gutter perfectly.

Welded now, time to grind the welds and straighten it. Looks good.

This is the piece located at the top the D pillar. It's underneath the gutter corner, roof skin and quarter panel. It was a difficult piece to create. I made it in 3 pieces, since it's completely hidden.

These are the lower doglegs. This was a difficult repair, as there are multiple contours here. Had to make the patches in 4 pieces. 1 completed and 1 to go.
