I've been searching for what tires to put on my incoming Nori Green GX.

I'd love to find a C1 A/T tire but they don't seem to exist. I also think I need to stay with S/T speed rating to keep above the 110mph rating of the GX. I'd also like to have the 3PMSF rating.

Given that I'll be towing regularly I'm thinking that XL or E1 is the way to go.

I wouldnt mind Falken but since they've starting having some of them made in China and I can't see the tires before buying I'll be avoiding them.

265/60R18 E1:
Yokohama Geolander A/T G015
BFGoodrich KO2

265/60R18 XL:
Nitto Ridge Grappler
Nitto Terra Grappler G2

265/60R18 XL:
Nitto Terra Grappler G2

A I missing anything? I liked the KO2's on my 4Runner by they did seem to flat spot as I had steering wheel shake for a few miles sometimes.

I'm leaning toward the Yokohama as I'll be driving 90% on pavement.

I'd stay away from the G2s...I've heard terrible things about their handling. Maybe look into the Cooper AT3. The 4s has the snowflake rating, but they also sell an LT version (that doesn't have the snowflake but appears to be the same/similar tread).

Thanks for the info!

I need to see if I can find the difference between XL and C1 tire composition.

I don't know that I really need the 3-ply sidewall on an E1 tire.
