Wow, that's great! I've got a ways to go at only 137K and just over 10 yrs old!

hopefully the 80 (107,000) i got will last as long as my 89 Camry (242,000 miles) in 10 yrs..started pouring too much $$ into it... so bartered it for labor to put a new roof on my parents house.....

Mine has somewhere around 260,000 miles on it right now. Not sure if it's just over or just under.

Oh, and no major repairs. Just a few ancillaries and maintenance. :D

I plan on having my 80 until she dies. Hopefully with this forum's help I can get her there.

I watched mine turn 127,000 the other day. Being a 95 I hope to have it for another 14 years or so, as I am on schedule to drive 12K miles a year. (still a newbie - as I am still under a year)

Amazing how they "keep on keepin' on"!!!

Later-

When I was looking for my 80 last year I saw one in Kentucky (a 95) that had 320K on her. They were asking something like 10500 for it!

Looked at a 96 cruiser in March with 330k...

First congrats, but is it that big of a surprise? Thats why most people get the LC...value. I'm sure its has many more miles to go. My '83 has 260k without any major work and its been treated like crap. I just got the '94, 130k and I'm going to take better care of her, but I'm expecting at least 250k with only a head gasket or tranny work. Also, volvos are the Gods of high miles. My parents put almost 350k on their '78. still ran but no one wanted to drive the ugly thing so we drove her to the junkers.

Mine is a 91 with over 243k and after seeing all these post i guess i should not worrie about it not reaching the 300k mark thats when i would like to overhaul the engine got an oil leak not bad though about a quaart every 3000k miles. no rattles or unusual smoke still running up to 85 mph so if i dont have any major smog issues living here in CA i will be happy to keep her.

We should close this post before we artificially raise the price of older Land Cruisers.

Besides I still want to buy 2 more 93 - 95 80’s so I can live the rest of my life without a new vehicle.

:D
