I have been helping a friend of mine with a newly acquired 1994 Toyota reg cab 4x4. He got the truck through a trade, and the engine was handed to me in boxes. The engine had a new head put on then, the truck was put on hold I guess. In my spare time i put the engine back together, but have had to come up with several parts that are just plain missing. With the help of Bailey i have been able to get some much needed parts. I am so very close to finishing it, but am missing just a couple of items. I was wondering if anyone has any extra 22RE parts available for sale or trade. I am missing the weather connector that attaches to the Distributor, and the bracket that goes over the top of the Valve cover. I also noticed that the truck is stuck in 4 low, any ideas as to what this could be before I tear into it?
Another thing I noticed, is that the previous owner cranked the torsion bars so much, both CV axle boots are torn. Can you replace the boots easy, or just replace the CV shaft. I have replaced half shafts before.
