Depends when the 2019 is officially released. Most likely late August. The last update (adding 2018) to the TIS site was 8/28/17. IIRC the prior updates came in around the same time.

Checking up on this thread. Any more news on the ‘19? Looking to buy, might hold out a bit more if the 19s are right around the corner.

Not out yet.

I opted to order an '18 a few months ago, it arrived in the NYC port on the 5th, just waiting on my dealer to get it in. Ordered mid-April, was built on 5-31, shipped on 6-5 and arrived at port on 7-5.

Congrats on the order. Curious why you did a special order. Rare spec?
Thanks. The LC200 has been a dream of mine for 35 years, back when I saw my first FJ40 a teacher of mine had one and it was the coolest vehicle I had seen and have always wanted one.

Not really a special order or rare combo, I could afford to wait for it to be built and delivered and the price would be the same. I have been buying from the same dealership group for 23 years and they always treat me very well. No deposit needed, just a handshake.

In my area (Upstate NY) most dealers get 1 or two LC200's and they sit on the lot 6-10 months due to the price and I didn't want one that was sitting around for nearly a year. Since I wasn't in a big hurry, I could afford to have my rep order it and know that I would get a solid deal on delivery. So I paid off my '17 Highlander Limited Platinum and hope to be getting it in the next week, its at the port, remote starter has to be added.

I believe the 2019 specs are available...probably not for announcement or publication yet. My source may have gotten copies at dealer meeting held in April (I believe that was the date). They do not appear to be meant for distribution...more like an internal print out.

I have three printouts that appear to be detail specs and not "marketing" level presentation. One is "USA Toyota/2019 Model Year/Standard Specs - Land Cruiser...second is similar heading but "Color Availability"...and third is similar heading but "Option/Package Availability with Specs"

The colors and options look like 2018 choices...with only options package the rear seat screens and Terra leather instead of black (only two leather choices). Exterior colors are Pearl/Silver/Gray/Black/Brandywine/Blue.

The Spec is three pages of fine print and cites "Model Dates" of 08/2018 - 07/2019

Bottom line is it looks like pretty similar to 2018...I did hope/wish they added or changed a few color choices.

Trying to get similar info on LX 570 but no luck so far. One salesman thought that more option choices would be available for the TWO ROW for 2019...essentially no options available in 2018 TWO ROW.

Currently $5K Cash available on the 2018 LX...but only if you lease or finance with Toyota Finance...I think it was 4.9%.

I may order 2019 LX Two Row w/Luxury Package it that option is available...I really like the "red" semi-analine leather :)

Do not really want any of the other, many options added. The regular LX 570 with three rows sticker at right about $100k they load so much on all of them.

I would guess that 2019 ordering would be available soon??

Hope this adds "something" to the discussion. TomR

Anything in the specs on Entune/Apple CarPlay? I assume there is no change here, but one can always hope...

I went through the line by line listing and found nothing that appears to be Apple Play or Entune. While the option list is cryptic you can usually figure out what it is addressing.

BTW...they have two sub codes listed...TMC Standard = "STD" and TMS Standard = "s" Not sure what the difference is between TMC and TMS? Example is the Cool Box is "STD" while the Wireless Charger is "s"...??? Not sure what TMS vs TMC difference denotes? I also am not real familiar with some of the other options that have been moving from option to standard...but there appears to be a pretty long list of safety features that are standard...likely similar to 2018??

Thanks. I expected no change to the head unit and I assume that if there was a change that the specs would highlight it. So it sounds as though no change, unfortunately.

I read his update as Terra is the other option to black, ie. interior color choices are just Terra and Black
That is the way I read the sheets that I have...that Black may be standard with Terra another option.

Thanks Tom. Any updates on prices? dealer hold back ?

No price or holdback info.

Also, I have been unable to get any written info regarding Lexus 570...particularly the Two Row version. My Lexus salesman "believes" that you will be able to order packages and options on the Two Row for 2019. In 2018 the Two Row essentially was a "base" LX 570 w/o the third rom...no packages or factory options were available. He said they are available to order...but no prices yet. I requested an order form to see how you could configure but no response yet. TomR

I cant stand black leather in a Land Cruiser, its just not right. I cant believe they dont offer some lighter color interior like tan or gray. :frown:

They went from tan or gray in 08-11, to tan or black in 13-15, to dark brown/black or all black for 16+. WTF?

I’m not a fan of black exteriors and interiors. Just too hot for me. I could deal with the brown interior. I’ve got tan in my 2013.

I prefer the aesthetic of a black interior, especially over tan, and just accept the fact that it may get a little toasty in the sun. (I really wish my ‘14 had a black headliner to match the rest of the factory interior.) While I appreciate the ass blowing feature of the front seats, I think perforated leather is counterintuitive for a vehicle intended for off-road use.

All that said, I have gray Escape Gear seat covers now...
