2018 Low Country Land Cruiser Boil

Anyone have any ideas for the location of the boil? Is June 22-24 still good? It looks like Hunting Island doesn’t have any group sites available and Edisto is booked up. We may be able to get a number of small sites somewhere. Santee has some group sites available for the weekend with a picnic shelter. Any other places or ideas? Somewhere with a boat landing close by for a kayak would be fun and I can bring mine... did someone mention James Island? What do y’all think?

I would call James island county park now that place fills up in summer

I contacted James Island County Park James Island County Park | Charleston County Parks and Recreation and they have a large meadow available for group primitive camping. But they charge by the person with a minimum of 15 people for the group rate. I think they split the meadow up into sites of groups of 6... It was kinda unclear. Plus they have a water park for the kids and a shuttle to the beach and kayak rentals and stuff. It sounds like a great place to have it although it would be a drive for Upstate and ONSC members if anyone wanted to make the drive. Post up any ideas or suggestions.

They charge a couple of bucks to get in. If people balk at that. Whydon’t meet up and do it at one of the campground spots or rec areas in Francis Marion
