Discovered a great feature; thought I would share. When used in conjunction with a front-facing car seat, the individual 11.6-in. display screens that are part of the rear-seat DVD entertainment system make PERFECT foot rests for growing toddlers.

Yes!

Seriously, Otterbox needs to produce cases for these things. Instantly regretted peeling the plastic off of the one on the passenger side where the little one sits.

I agree completely. Those screens are in harms way on camping trips. I can see firewood or something shifting and scratching or smashing the screens.

I must admit that I've been finding more and more excuses to take my son's sneakers off when he gets into his car seat...over/under is 3 months until the screen cracks

Also -- decided to climb in the back to get a feel for the third row. Hand instinctively went out for something to use for balance, and guess what it grabbed.

Saw a 2016 a couple days ago in the Toyota showroom...
Tried to fold the second row seat down as I easily do in my 2008.
Seats run SMACK into the screens without intervention.

Very true Markuson. It's brutal. Found this with some googling, and ordered one. Maybe it will help.
