I saw this at Toyota of Dallas and the day after it was posted someone bought it. Didn’t last long at all.
I still don't understand why this has not sold here. A 2015, original owner, with low mileage. Maybe price, IDK. It is criminal that a dealer scooped this in and probably made a huge profit.

It was mentioned in another thread, forgot which one. But essentially we're at a time when "normal" people are hesitating to spend money on cars. And people who can comfortably drop $$$ wants an 2019+ thus creating a stall for the mid-range market.

Because lets be honest, for most people, a land cruiser really isn't a need. It's a luxury. People who can "only" afford $30-50k cash are double checking life choices this coming year. And you'll struggle to finance a 10 year old car, especially when the asking price is above KBB. And every single LC200 seller will ask above KBB.

The 200 is already a very niche market, combine that with the current situation, I highly doubt theres that many buyers floating around. And will only probably get slower. Me included, I've paused the idea on buying a 2016+, and have decided to pick up a 2008 in the meantime because I still need a car.

Lots of private sellers do a terrible job of creating their listing. Bad photos and little to no info are a couple of examples. More than that though you have to remember that Mud is a small community when you zoom out and isn’t going to cast a very wide net for exposure. People shopping the classifieds here are usually enthusiasts who are looking for a deal, not the average joe who may just be getting into LC’s or just doesn’t know any better. Case in point I have a couple of friends/colleagues here in DFW who are LC and Toyota fans in general but they don’t have Mud accounts. Factor in what @Musubi said and there ya go.

Also as a seller it’s usually more convenient and less hassle to just trade at a dealer providing you can negotiate your way out of a wet paper bag and work out a decent deal on your new car.
