So, ya I realize I am unknown to any of you all and hope to change that in the near future but I really want to take the 60 to Stockton on Saturday. It would be awesome if someone wanted to ride along or convoy at FJ60 pace just to make it more fun. I am as confident as it gets as to the road-worthiness of the old rig, but hey it pays to have a little insurance beyond roadside assistance should things go awry. I am taking a few items along to hopefully swap, but will have plenty of room for more. At this point the plan is an early morning departure from Atascadero (say 6ish), and return same day. Just an excuse to get out of town and hang with some fellow Cruiserheads for a bit. SO... if anyone does plan on going please consider a tagalong or at least honk and wave if you see a broke-down white 85 along the side of the road :).

Feel free to call or text if you would like to include the new guy! 605-484-3769

Eric,
I would like to go if only to gawk at the Cruisers but it turns out I have family visiting and won't be able to break away.
Thanks for a generous offer. Your FJ60 will be fine, it IS the best model after all!

Eric, I dont know if we have met, but a one day road trip, I could do. I'm a Toyota guy, without a Land Cruiser...I'll check with Dana, and call. Bob
