2014 4CYL

What's the consensus on the 4cyl engine in the 2014 Tacoma? Is it ok, should I avoid it?

I wanted the 4cyl , I had a nice 2017 got hit and totaled was a manual transmission a lot more fun than a automatic . I just picked up a 2015 4x4 access cab SR5 but it is a Auto trans , the truck only has 16k on it . For me the truck is just a little truck to run around beater that I wanted a dependable low maintenance truck .
If your expecting to tow or lift the truck get the 4.0

You know that you’re responding to a 4 year old question, and to a guy that has a 2009 turbo diesel 70 series ute, right? I doubt he’s looking at a 4 banger Taco to tow with.
