It is time for me to move on to a pickup truck. It has been a good run thus far owning versions of a LandCruiser. I’ve owned 2 ea 80’s series, a 100 series a LX470 and a LX570. Now it is time to get a Tundra, that is the only reason I am selling this. With that said, let’s get into the details:
2013 Lexus LX570, black onyx exterior and parchment interior. Photos were taken over the weekend and mileage is at 97,696. I really only drive this on the weekends so mileage will not drastically increase.
$34,900.00
Completely clean, 100% completely clean CARFAX. I can provide the CARFAX I pulled before I bought it.
Some key factory features to note include:
Radar Adaptive Cruise Control
Mark Levingston Sound System
Z1 Preferred Accessory Package
Paint Protection Film Package
I have both of the key fobs and I also have the remote for the rear DVD system.
I bought this vehicle when it had 78,000 miles on it. I specifically bought this vehicle based on the mind boggling service history at My Lexus which included 23 entries, all from the same dealer, Lexus of Bellevue in Washington. This LX has lived its entire life in the Pacific NW. We do not salt roads around here so the undercarriage has no rust. Some key moments from the My Lexus service history include:
34,850 miles-steering fluid flush, transfer case fluid change and differential fluid change
48,146 miles-throttle service and cleaning, alignment
53,682 miles-original owner sold the vehicle, Lexus listed it as Certified Used. New brakes and rotors
53,684-every single chip, ding both on the exterior of the vehicle and interior of the vehicle was addressed before transferring to the new owner.
62,809-transmission fluid flush, replaced seatbelt tension sensor
65,076-Timing cover reseal, coolant replaced
66,753-front differential fluid was changed.
Vehicle was traded in to a Lexus dealership and then I became the third owner. Since I became the owner the dealer service stopped as I did the work on the vehicle. In my 20,000 miles of ownership I have updated the oil filter housing to the OEM metal version and started to run 5w-30 full synthetic oil. As it turns out, the dealer isn’t excited to switch the oil weight. From the history above, there was no need to service the differentials, transfer case or the transmission. Also brakes were done 40,000 miles ago. If you wanted to be way, way ahead of the curve I would look to do the brakes and replace the coolant. Not because it needs to be done, however I would baseline it at 100k miles if I decided to keep it long term. Perhaps flush the AHC fluid, however the fluid looks really, really good. This tells me the fluid was done during one of the normal intervals at the dealer. The vehicle runs and drives perfectly. Every single…absolutely every single light or electronic component on the vehicle works. There is absolutely nothing that needs to be done, rectified or worried about.
I bought the vehicle bone stock. Below is a list of the modifications:
-95% chrome delete on the vehicle
-5 ea AlphaEquipt Command wheels in bronze with 25mm offset
-5 ea 285/70-17 BFG KO2’s with about 15,000 miles on them
-TKO Fabrications Sliders, dimples down with bump-out, installed 12/24
-Rock lights wired to the running board wiring harness, as such the car lights up when you walk up on it and when you unlock it.
-Prinsu Full Length roof rack installed 12/24. I do still have the OEM roof rack and all the hardware.
-2 ea Agency 6 grab handles on the roof rack
-AuxBeam 8-gang switch panel
-4 ea KC Cyclone lights, 2 ea on each side of the roof rack. Wired to the switch panel to operate each side independently or all together.
-2 ea Stedi Micro V2 7.8” LED light bars mounted to the rear of the roof rack, wired to the switch panel
-CALIRaised 42” white light LED light bar with the Prinsu mounting kit, wired to the switch panel
-Switch panel is wired for plug and play ditch lights with CALIRaised ditch light mounts. These will be included in the sale.
-WeatherTech floor mats front to back. I also have the two row Lexus rubberized mat for the cargo area when the rear seats are removed. That means I have two mats for the back depending on if the rears seats are in or out.
-Mud flaps have been removed, however I still have all 4 of them, including hardware.
-Engine shroud has been removed, however I still have all 3 pieces, including hardware.
-Rear seats are removed, however I still have the seats, including hardware
I am sure there are things I am missing, however this LX was loved and exceptionally well taken care of. Absolutely no disappointments. Cosmetically stunning and mechanically sound. Again, happy to share the CARFAX report from when I bought it and I would encourage you to pull a new one. Also happy to share the full MyLexus report as well. Thanks for having a look and please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions!
