2012 fj engine overheated, the machine shop says the cylinder heads are warped 0.008” and the limit is 0.004”,machine shop is not sure if they should resurface the heads and if resurfaced, will the valves hit the pistons and if the camshafts still turns ??
Any advices appreciated.
Thanks

The 1GR engines are 10.5:1 compression ratio from the factory; if you deck the heads much at all, that is going to go up and potentially cause problems (heat, pressure, gas octane, etc.).

I don’t know
