Does anybody know a less-invasive way to change out a heater core in a 2008 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6? Because according to the Haynes manual and instructions from O'Reilly I have to disassemble the entire inside of my car steering column and steering wheel included. And I'm really not trying to do all that so if anybody knows a trick I would appreciate it. Apparently whoever did it before cut the pipes and now it's causing me all kinds of problems and I had to bypass the heater core altogether because my floor board filled up with coolant.
