I’m installing the VAIS BT unit this week. I see the directions for the LC, but none for the LX. Does anyone have a LX guide? I think the LX dash is different and the center speaker may not need to be pulled.

Definitely no need to pull speaker. You start at the gauge cluster and leg bolsters before the center panel also. I used this youtube video and everything went smoothly.

I also bought one of these interior panel removal tool sets off of Amazon and it has come in handy several times.

I thought the LX would be a bear to get apart but it was one of the easiest things I've done on a car LOL. Also went back together super easy and no rattles. Very well designed.

Awesome! Thanks. When you added the VAIS system, where did you place the unit? Behind the NAV unit? Or, in the glovebox? Did you ground the VAIS unit?

It's mounted in the same area as the NAV. Been awhile but I think there was room either on top or behind the NAV. Also be sure and check your DIP switch settings. I can't remember what they were specifically but I do remember mine needed to be changed from how it was received from VAIStech so I got some extra practice taking the dash apart LOL. No grounding that I remember. Pretty sure it was just a plug and play harness.

I did their video bypass at the same time so maybe I'm getting confused on which one required DIP switch changes etc. Just be sure and read the manual on that before buttoning everything back up.

I was thinking about locating it to the glove box in case it need software updates. That way I can tap into the USB port.
