Wanted 2008-2011 LC or LX Max $28K OTD

Aloha Mudders!

I have been a long time lurker of this site and love the community and culture you all bring. My wife and I are actively searching for a 200 series, and this will be our first. We are planning a 2 week southwest trip beginning June 8 (in 2 weeks) in San Diego. We live in Hawaii, so we are coordinating a purchase sight unseen, and expect a turnkey rig to complete our 2,000 mile road trip where we'll ship it back at the end. Once back home, it'll be used extensively for camping with our boys, and some light off road.

I've been searching extensively and am finding many more "qualified" LX's than LC's. I may even be close to finding what we want, but wanted to reach out here too. If the timing works, I'm willing to ship to San Diego.

What classifies as qualified you ask?

• No accident history
• Extensive service history a plus
• Prefer darker interior colors
• Prefer white, black, gray, silver, maybe Amazon Green (ha!)
• Mods are welcomed, but stock works for us too

I have absolutely seen that one. At 276K miles, a lonely snorkel as one of the stand out mods, my wife had a laugh at the asking price, and I feel it was justified. Might be for someone, but not us.

No affiliation with this one, but it has ARB bars, 104k miles at $25,5k. No idea on the accident or service history. Probably worth a Carfax IMO.

Did you hear anything back from the seller? The ad seems to good to be true IMO.

He got back to me via text promptly that it had sold. My best friend in Madison, WI is looking at this 2009 LX 570 tomorrow. It's far away from San Diego, but my friend is up to drive it out for us if it works out. The dealer gave me the CARFAX, and the Lexus service history is pretty decent. After my friend sees it I'll have a local mechanic do a PPI. I'm a little skeptical to a northern state truck, and requested some undercarriage shots, which they quickly shot back. They're not the greatest, but it doesn't seem obvious they spray canned the under side. I'll know tomorrow.

Do you have a link? I’m not finding any White LCs or LXs in Ojai on AutoTrader. I’m having the above LX in for a PPI first thing tomorrow morning, and will proceed unless some unforeseen report comes back OR something amazing pops up in the SoCal area.
