2004 LX470 Mirror Dip Programming Question

Hi all,

Hope all is well.

Anyone know if there’s any way to program our trucks so that only the passenger side view mirror dips down when selecting the Reserve gear (driver side view mirror to remains upright and stationary)?

i am looking for same thing, but both, it seems the passenger side dip more than the driver side, is there away to program it?

Negative. The only option is to push the selector left or right to turn the feature on, place the selector switch in the center to turn it off.

Very annoying because my driver's side view mirror does not always return to where it was after dipping.

I also find it dangerous when parallel parking, where I want to see traffic from my driver's side view mirror.

I drive a 2001 LX-470 and it does the same thing...passenger mirror dips in reverse, but doesn't return to normal position. I have found this to be not only annoying, but dangerous when I notice the mirror is pointing at the ground when I am trying to clear the right lane in rush hour traffic!
