I've been having intermittent issues with my fan blower for almost a year. It does not consistently work. Sometimes it works for a few days, sometimes it kicks on and off several times during a drive. It's starting to drive me a bit insane. Here's what I've done to troubleshoot/fix so far:

1. Checked all fuses and connections
2. Replaced Blower Motor
3. Replaced Blower Motor Resistor
4. Replaced Blower Motor Relay in Main Fuse box under hood.

Over the summer I was messing with the fuse box/blower relay and the blower fan kicked on. I believe it was just from wiggling the fuse box under the hood. It worked flawlessly for about 3 months. Left for a week of vacation. Came home to a dead battery. After charging/jumping the blower fan issue came back. I replaced the relay again thinking it went bad or something but issue is still present.

My thoughts are I need to replace the fuse distribution box, but haven't seen many reported issues on 04-07 100s. I know this is a bigger issue for earlier years. Anyone else experienced any issues like this? I wanted to check here before I just order a new one. $821 is a bit too much to spend on a hunch. Also, Can anyone confirm the part #82720-60080 is what I'm looking for in case I do need to replace it?

Thanks in advance!

i know there are problems with the early fuseboxes getting melted connectors under the EFI relay, but i've never heard of it happening to the Blower relay.

Having the same issue. @jabajee Did you ever find a solution?

It's working now. I haven't had any issues, but not sure I've "fixed it". I did replace my AGM battery that went bad after 16 months. Once I did that, I haven't had an issue. I know some electrical weirdness can happen with a failing battery, but I never thought about that being the real issue.

I just did a 6 hour road trip over the weekend in 90 degree weather. Blower worked like a charm.
