2003 Toyota Sequoia Limited

Hi Everyone,

Please see the attached Craigslist link for my 2003 Sequoia Limited...I also have my 2001 Land Cruiser posted on this site. I like them both, but only need one. Whichever one sells first I will keep the other. If anyone is interested or would like more pics, please let me know. (Asking $12,900 for the Sequoia).

Thanks,

Cedar

I'm actually quite curious about these, can anyone tell me if they are of similar longevity as the cruisers?

my 2004 sequoia has 219000 miles to the date with absolutely ni issues at all, i bought it from a guy who owned it for all its life and according to him it never gave him any problems whatsoever related to motor transmission or electrical.

our 2001 sequoia we bought from my sister in-law.. original owner @ 185k ... we now have 204k and going strong no issues what so ever

I am the original owner of a 2005 Sequoia. It has been problem free other than some minor stuff like rear hatch leakage and the "D" light and radio lights failing. I have a 1997 80 for the rough stuff and we use the Sequoia for family trips. If I had it to do over again, I'd have probably picked up a comparable vintage Land Cruiser from the start and equipped it for mild overlanding. The Sequoia is big and a bit "wallowy" in maneuvering and has worse visibility (for my family anyway though we tend to the short side of average height). It's capable of reasonable power and gas mileage if you're steady. Broke 20 mpg (barely) a few times on long trips even with four of us and a Thule box on top.

Edited to add that my factory alloy wheels suffered from significant corrosion that was a problem for some. I didn't know it was a Toyota issue until it was too late for Toyota to honor a swap but most Sequoia's of the same model year don't have the problem.

The Sequoia has been very reliable and neither my bride nor daughter want me to sell it. Me, I'd go to a 100 or 200 series and make a few offroad upgrades, but I really can't complain.

The great news is that with this seller you have your choice! Good luck with the sale.
