this should probably go in a "normal" 4 runner forum but maybe one of the members here has a good mod?
i just did 2000 miles in my 2wd 2003 four runner and i noticed that late in the day when i try to get my foot closer to the /top/ of the pedal (so that it is easier to keep the pedal depressed) that my foot bangs into the console at the top right. basically i can't seem to get the heel on the ground and still get my foot higher up on the pedal. when i do the top of the foot seems like it can get wedged in there and actually feels a bit dangerous.
i could put the heel down and crank my foot over at a 30 - 40 degree angle but this is super unwieldy.
i'm wearing red wing work shoes that have a rounded toe but they are size 9. and on the one hand i can't see how they designed a vehicle like this and on the other i can't see how the guys with big feet manage in this space.
anyone run into this?! anyone got a mod for it? ferrari driving shoes??!!
i possibly plan on selling the 2wd and getting a 4wd but if this is chronic with no mod options i need to rethink this.
thanks for any good info
