It's time to move on to a three row SUV for our soon to be growing family so I have to say goodbye to my beloved 4Runner.
I purchased it over 1 year ago from a private party in Plano, TX. It was a one owner, vehicle in one accident. The owner was moving to Dubai for his work as a logistics specialist and he needed to sell it. It had 159,xxx when I bought it and it now has just over 173,xxx. Everything works, it is mechanically and structurally sound. It does not leak, or burn any fluids. Here is the run down on the good and bad....
The bad:
It does a small cancer. There is 1 small spot on the rear bumper. Nothing is perforated, and likely never will be if it stays in the Southwest. The frame is sound. I had a pre-purchase inspection completed when I purchased it and it was just salt spray with no serious rust anywhere. It has lived most of its life in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
It needs new tires, I held off because I knew I would be selling it soon. It also needs to have the power antenna replaced with the Tacoma whip mod or another power antenna (no idea who would want to do that).
The passenger side running board was scraped when a car tried to get past me at a merge. They couldn't replace it since they aren't in production anymore.
The Good:
Everything works. Power windows, rear window, all transfer case functions, high low range, center locking diff, seat heaters. All buttons, switches work their appropriate accessories and all the accessories work. The vehicle has only had a brush guard and taillamp guards added. Otherwise it is completely STOCK. It is prime for having mods completed.
I am looking to get $9,000 cash for it. I have clear title in hand.
