2000 4runner : headlight ?

Son's rig: he had healamp bulb replaced.

Can it be 'upside down' (180 degree rotated out of position) ?

What we see:

older lamp : most of light reflected from bottom of reflector

newer bulb : most of light reflected from top of reflector.

Illumination on street looks cocamamy . . . .follows what we see....

( he's away, with truck, for few days, didn't have time to pull bulb & see if it fits differently)

I don't believe the bulb can be turned upside down...... Those 9003's should be the top tab straight up and down and the bottom two off at like a 45 degree angle pointing downward.
The electrical pins for the plug in should be;
top 1 = horizontal
bottom 2 = vertical
