I re-sealed my 2 part 12HT exhaust manifold will all new parts. It looks like it is still leaking from the joint. Any ideas as to how to seal this joint? Thanks

Have you actually renewed the two piston ring like steel seals which should seal the joint ?

EDIT : Just found your previous post of renewing them.... so you did and they are still leaking ? Maybe the female part has rusted bigger over time..?

17151-68010 Steel Rings
90301-49003 comes up as O rings ??? I have never seen them....

In my manifold the steel rings are baked into their groves, just like yours and probably all of them.... I tried - but gave up freeing them. In the end I think that I added some exhaust cement when I fitted the mainfold last time. It's not leaking.... If you have to use any exhaust cement pre turbo (which I hate) use it sparingly and only on the male part... you dont want some hardened drops of cement hitting your turbine at speed.
Annoying that you went that far and it's still leaking....

You might find it in your part of the world under Holts Gun Gum or Maniseal Exhaust Cement 145g - https://crcindustries.com.au/products/maniseal-exhaust-cement-145g-5061.html

I dont know wether CRC also sells in Alaska .... most of the time things which are difficult to get here are easy available in the US.....

Do you know that the Godwits, a shore bird, is migrating nonstop from Alaska to New Zealand ....and they are just here on the sandbank not even 150 metres away from my house... crazy.

I'm curious how you are getting on with the alternative parts.
