I'm on the fence on whether to get 35's and go with a 1 inch body lift if necessary or do 33's. The truck is used mostly for expeditions, but I'd rather not have to go around rocks. I was planning to pair the 35's with 4.56 or 33's with 4.11's with my H55F

do you have a 60? I have a62 so i stuck with the 33's for now b/c of the lot of extra $ to go up to 35's. (Gears, BL, etc.)

I will hopefully go to 35's one day, but after I have the $ and get used to how mine handles with 33's.

Good luck, you are right on with the needing a BL to run the 35's though. That or deal with rubbing even with some pounding and trimming.

My tires are a full 34 inches, and I get a little rubbing up front even with the BL and fairly significant trimming of the front fenders. Its just on a little flat spot of the fender, im gonna attack it with a torch and a body hammer in the near future. My bumpstops are stock, so if it really bothered me i could extend them a little bit. My current plan is to run this combo till the tires wear out and then go buckwild on the fender trimming and see if i can stuff 35s under there. Id say go 35s, especially with the SR. Its only the front corner where my tires rub. I havent run any trails that are superbly nasty, and ive already been in situations where i wanted more tire/clearance than i have.

i got the bds lift on mine and i went with the 33's. with the 33's you dont need to re-gear and i have never had a problem with rubbing

I got 33's on my 62 with a 2.5" Dobinsons suspension and its perfect gearing with the H55F transmission. 35's would be nice but I do not want to go through the extra work neccesary. I thing 34 LTB's on an extra set or wheels is the way to go.

Hey Kyle,

I was scoping your photos because I am in Houston too and wanted to be able to recognize your rig on the road. Did you fix the truck after the roll?

I wish I had Javier's lift when I put my suspension on. I had a lot of help though.

Cheers,

the cruiser is currently sitting in my storage/summer shop (11x28). i am tearing it down, scrapping the totaled things, keeping the things i want when i buy a new 60, and goin to try and sell the left overs.

I guess that I should have read your sig line. Good luck with the build up.
