Forecast looks pretty shotty!!!

Lets hang in there. I think it may not start til late PM on Sat. This snow we just recieved should go away in the next couple of days with 50+ days forcast.

If we reschedule--I guess I can go skiiing:confused:

My girlfriend and I would like to check out those petroglyphs, so if anyone is still planning on going, we'll be out there.

It would suck to have breakage on the trail with a storm moving in.

Hate to say... I'm not feeling the love w/ the weather and wheeling up there this weekend...
ITS GONNA BE MUDDY!!! :( I H 8 MUD!!!!

Shall we make this a wagon run to the glyphs?

I think that is a good idea. Doing an unknown canyon with snow and MUD:mad: in the mix and with it either raining or going to snow in the PM is not advisable. So with out my 4 runner I will probably have to back out.

Meh... I'm out!! I just straight hate the mud that's GOING TO BE UP THERE!!!

I'm gonna paint my doors instead!! :)

I'm still fighting bronchitis so I'm out as well.

Just an FYI;
Looking out my window I can still see snow on the sunny slopes, the shady parts of the road may have some drifts.

Sorry guys, I'm out too. I'm not sure what going on but I've some kind of bug.

I'm unfamiliar with those trails as well. Any trails I've seen near the high school looked like they were private property. Any one know where to start, how to get there?

If you drive up the road off to the north of damonte ranch high, you'll hit the dirt road. Take it up almost to the water tower and there will be a road off to the left. Jump on that. About a 1/4 mile or a little less, there is a road that starts going up the hill side on the right. This is the road to access!!!! There is one pretty steep section.... Take this road and follow it all the way back to louse town creek. The trail at louse town, WILL "Y"!!!! Hook BACK and follow louse town EAST!!
keep following that. The trail will open up into a valley... Keep heading east and start looking on the right hand side of the road. There will be three turn offs!! First two are are close together and lead back to bronco canyon. The third is the turn off to the glyphs. Leads back into the brush and follows a little creek.
The glyphs will be on the left back in a way. Big rocks, black in color.

Very cool!!

Even if you don't find it...it's cool to just explore.

My to do list just got too big now that the dogs figured out how to climb the 5' fence. I think I'll head up there in a few weeks though, sounds fun!
