Hey all, I fab'd and installed my own “ultimate” EGR delete kit onto my 1KZTE engine a few weeks ago. I removed the EGR piping/assembly, blanked with my fab'd stainless plates, cleaned the intake manifold, changed out all the vac lines, and installed a new turbo pressure sensor filter. I also installed an EGT thermocouple into the threaded hole on the exhaust EGR plate, wired up to an Auber 1813 display. The vehicle runs great with no error codes, and has a smooth shut down, which was achieved by rerouting the vac lines so that the small butterfly remains open during operation, and only closes during shut down.
I did make a few extra “kits” that I’m offering. Each kit includes:
- Laser cut 304SS stainless intake block off plate, OEM replacement gasket, OEM replacement nut and bolt
-Laser cut 304SS stainless exhaust block off plate with threaded 1/8” NPT port for EGT thermocouple, OEM replacement gasket, OEM replacement bolts, stainless NPT plug if you don’t want to run EGT thermocouple
- OEM vacuum hose for reroute, caps for vacuum line and VSV
-$90 USD shipped to the USA or Canada
Add-ons to the kit:
-OEM intake manifold gaskets +$15 (good idea to clean intake manifold during EGR delete since you’re already “there”)
-OEM turbo pressure sensor filter and OEM hose +$20 (these are often clogged and/or cracked)
My kit differs from others on the market:
-Stainless plates (not carbon/mild steel)
-Stainless NPT plug for exhaust plate (if you don’t want to install EGT thermocouple)
-All Genuine Toyota OEM hardware, gaskets, plug
-Genuine Toyota OEM vac hoses
I also made a video that explains how the 1KZ EGR system works, and how to delete it. There's info on the EGR valve, Venturi butterflies, vacuum hoses, VSVs, as well as instructions on how to delete the EGR (including vacuum hose reroute). Link:

I do also have a few extra steel mounting plates that fit three Auber 1813 gauges. These mount in the blank hole below the stereo, and uses the two existing screws to mount. I have mine set up running the EGT, water temp, and boost pressure. Also included is a small stainless bracket that makes mounting the Auber 303 boost pressure sensor a little easier. +$15 USD for panel and bracket with purchase of an EGR kit. See pictures below for more info.
