1997 Toyota XtraCab 4x4 Tacoma Pickup 2.7l 4-cyl auto 189K miles
Helping my brother sell. $4000 obo. Pickup only in Dayton Ohio, no delivery, as is where is, cash sale. I'm a first time poster here, but I've been on Advrider.com for over 20 years and this truck is posted there. We'd keep the truck if we needed it, but my brother has a 2008 Taco in mint shape and I have a 2000 Tundra in mint shape. This truck belonged to a longtime/lifetime friend who loved it and kept it fully maintained and carefully driven. Has not been off-roaded.
the good:
recent head gasket and timing chain - never overheated
full tune up and wires
new radiator
A/C does not need a recharge. blows cold.
Fully serviced with fresh Amsoil - engine, trans, transfer case, diff.
brakes new in past year
new exhaust from manifold back, including cats
new tires
Interior in great shape minus a small drivers seat tear
Paint shiny
body straight
glass good
The bad:
dreaded taco frame rot in 2 places. right rear above axle, left rear at forward spring perch
some bubbling on body at rear qtr wheel arch
