1997 broken motor for sale $100+

I just replaced the broken motor in my Dad's 1997 FZJ80. I would like to get anything up and above the $100 core that the junk yard will pay me.


Details:

The motor threw a rod through the block less then a month after having the head gasket replaced and head professionally rebuilt. I'm assuming the head is in good shape. The head gasket blew and I'm guessing the coolant phuckered the bearings and caused the failure. The engine is at my buddy's shop in Kennewick, Washington and will be available to Mud members for anything up and above $100 until this Saturday, February 15, 2014.

The block is junk if it threw a rod. The head is likely toast too. Your best bet is to pull the head to confirm if it's good or bad. People will pay for a known good head. That is easier to ship than an entire block as well.

Is it just a long block or is there EFI components? I am looking at a 95 that had a fire under the hood.
