1996 Honda Accord

I have a 1996 Honda Accord 4 door automatic the other morning it was really cold (in the 30s) and I accidentally pushed the hazard lights instead of the back defroster. The Hazards came on but I couldn't get them to turn off, so I kindof got rough with pushing the button and eventually the left lights stopped flashing but the right side kept on. After several more minutes of pushing aggressively the right side stopped. Is this typical and is there something I should have done instead of beating it into submission? Thanks!

This has also happened to me once. Luckily only once. 1995 Honda Accord EX wagon. I wasn't too aggressive with the button. It eventually became "unstuck".

Freaked me out momentarily!

Wife's 95 has this problemo.

there is a little space on the side where you can slide in a little screwdriver (like for watches and glasses)

Slip it in, pull it out.
