1994 HDJ 80 battery suggestions (1 Viewer)

Hello all. I have owned this euro spec 24 volt HDJ 80 for about seven years and I think the batteries have gone on me. The previous owner was in Italy so the codes that are still legible do not match up with our system. After talking with an Interstate rep he suggested the MTP 27F x2 for this truck. Truck has the 1HD-T engine.

Attached are photos of the the batteries that came out of the truck. They both had the same codes but one ended with an "s" and the other with a "d" . Photos attached.

I am hoping to pick up some new ones tomorrow. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Are the battery polarities switched on either side? That's how it is on my JDM HDJ81, one side is a 27 and the other a 27f.

I believe they are...

Yea that's how mine are. Group 27 goes on one side, and 27F on the other. They're the same battery, the posts are just flipped.

I just used whatever O'Reilly's had - some Super Start Premiums. They've been great for the last year, no complaints.
