Hello - I have the attached 1989 FJ62 TLC for sale and am wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing this information with your club members.

I'm only selling her because I'm no longer using her for what she was purchased
for and sadly, she just doesn't make sense to have in the city (Chicago, IL). I
absolutely LOVE this truck. I've had extensive mechanical work done---at this
point she'll out-run me, she just needs a bit of a face lift.

Here's a quick run-down...

Original Toyota Freeborn Red (?) or Super Red/Grey interior
6 Cylinder

4WD – free-wheeling hubs (not engaged since I've owned)
Power steering, locks and windows
Cruise Control (not connected)
AC
AM/FM radio (cassette)
Backseat Heat er
Past IL emissions test November '06
Repair manual
Clean Vehicle History Report as of 9.07

All work done by same mechanic for last 6 years (Norm’s Auto Clinic, Chicago
IL)-I have all paperwork
- New Alternator @ 113.0K mi. – 8.07
- New Battery @ 113.0K mi. – 8.07
- New Catalytic Converter @ 108.7K mi. – 8.06
- New Front brakes pads and machined rotors/drums @? – 6.05
- New Thermostat @ 105.3K mi. – 2.05
- New Cylinder, head gasket & water pump @100.2K mi. – 2.04
- New Starter @ 99.1K mi. - 11.03
- New O2 sensors @ 80.0K mi. – 11.01

Issues:
- Needs body work – rusting (not garaged in last 6 yrs)
- A bit “sun-baked”
- Two Tears in drivers side seat
- Radio Antenna broken (have replacement, but not installed)
- Dings/scratches
- 4-Wheel Drive Indicator panel in dash knocked in and 4WD panel on shift box
knocked in
