1987 toyota coaster 3B engine 5 spd

G'day from Auntie Chis in Australia. I have just purchased the above in a fit of insanity to convert to a camper. Motor seems ok but could use a bit of overtaking umph. Anybody know the capacity of this 4 Cyl. motor and how to increase performance a little. It has no turbo. What does it need plus a ball-park price if possible. May I thank all members for this opportunity

yup the first thing the boys are going to say is turbo

short of that put on skinny smaller wheels and get out the sawz-alll to start removing anything you don't really need
