1985 Toyota 4runner. Picked it up recently as a project but I've got a lot of stuff going on and no time to work on it right now, it doesn't fit in my garage, and well the woman HATES seeing it under a tarp on the carport
It came from SoCal, and spent most of it's time in AZ before the previous owner trailered it to IL where it spent the winters inside. No rusted out frame on this one.
The Good
Things that need attention:
$1500 for TTORA/MUD members. Only asking what I paid (I'll toss the yellow top in at no charge to make the sale).
Cash is king. I'd only trade for a 22re auto trans 4x4 pickup. It's ok to drive home on back roads, but bring a trailer if you live out of state.
Located in Joliet, IL about 10 minutes from the Interstate 80 and Interstate 55 junction.

The Good
- Chevy 4.3L V-6 & 4l60E trans with B&M ratchet shifter (out of a 95 Blazer with 70K before pulled out. 5K miles on drivetrain since then in the 4runner)
- Newer 36" TSL Radials. One of them is a little cut from a broken leaf spring letting it get into the fender. Front leaf springs are new and replaced.
- Stock Axles with ARB Air lockers in the front and rear w/4.88 gears.
- Comes with a set of tube doors and 5 extra wheels w/o tires, a hitch/spare tire carrier (it is upside down in the picture), several dash panels, extra set of warn manual hubs
- No oil leaks of any kind (the spots on my carport are from the previous homeowner)
- Clean IL title in hand
- Has a brand new Optima Yellow Top battery - $220
Things that need attention:
- Radiator has a slow drip from the lower corner at the hose connection.
- Hard top comes with it. It's missing some of the hardware to attach it
- Body damage from offroading
- Most of the interior panels are missing
- Seats are ripped, signal lights need replaced, windshield needs to be re sealed (a pillar is a little dented, should fill up with 3M urethane nicely, though, which I will include with sale)
