1980 fj40 fs (1 Viewer)

Not mine but, my buddy works at Lackland AFB and saw a 1980 FJ40 at the lemon lot there. It is the dark brown color and appears to be in fair to good condition. The paperwork says it has a 5 spd conversion and a Vintage Air AC and was purchased from CCOT (cool cruisers of TX).
The asking price is 18K.

Just thought I'd share for those who are interested.


PS, just saw today that there is a 1997 40th ? anniversary edition at the Ft Sam lemon lot. The guy is asking 10,500. It has just a bit over 100K

What do you think the 40 series is worth? I've been shocked at how low prices have come down in the last year of non restored trucks. Offer him $11K.

Not sure about the lockers. I haven't been back to the lot this week. I work this sat. so I will look. On the other hand, I think 18k is ridiculous for that rig. I am thinking 8-10k tops. but, I am a bit on the conservative side if ya know what I mean.
