Folks - I was going to fix/repair this frame and box it in with the help of my certified welder buddy.
Long story short - I have neither the time, space or patience for the fabbing and jigging...and after some agonizing soul searching decided to order a new Aqualu Frame so I can get driving faster...
The truck is a 1977 - LWB (I believe all LWB frames were same, but please do your own research). The front part is fine, the rear not. From about the rear cross tube - the C channel inserts were bad and the lower part of frame needs patching/replacement. I had plan to make these sections out of 3/16 rectangular tubing (I can send pic of my prototype) etc. The rear section needs cross braces removed and sections replaced. Requires you to remove the spring mounts in rear (both front and rear). I believe this frame can be saved, but again, I am out of time/patience/space and frankly skill to do this right.
I don't think 45 frames grow on trees - so hope somebody needs this. Notes:
- I will need to remove a few things - but not many. The new frame comes with shock mounts and hangers so mainly removing the STEERING housing and front pieces that bumper sits on
- The frame does NOT come with title/registration - I may have to remove the VIN , but not sure what the proper way to do this is
- The frame has the old tranny mount and remnants of the motor mounts but is set up for a V8 with mounts for Advance adapter (Engine and Tranny)
- Frame only - no axles etc.
- Can help (with buddies) load if you come with trailer
- Open to trades :-)
PM me for more detail....

hey there I’m somewhat interested in the frame. Would love to talk it through and maybe see pics of the problem areas. My frame is super terrible so anything is better. Was going to stretch a 40 frame honestly. Any idea what you want for it
