Is the connectors for the FJ40 the same configuration as the connector for a diesel BJ40? And are the instrument panels compatible?
I need to get a new panel and connector, not sure where to get it, the person I bought the BJ40 was not telling the truth about what electrical problems where going on. Thanks

I'm not sure about compatibility but I suspect they are the same? The 24V BJ40 will have a different (50amp) ammeter gauge than the 12V FJ40

I found many online for sale, they all say compatibility with the BJ40 but when you check compatibility they don’t even list a diesel motor or mention 24 volt system, unless the cluster has been stepped down to 12 volts?
The only working is fuel gauge sometimes and the volt meter, I even changed all the bulbs because they were burnt and put 24 volt bulbs but none light up the instrument panel

Check and clean all the grounds in these electrical gauges; mine were a challenge too (reliability). If you do decide on a new gauge cluster, order it from a shop in Canada, Australia, Japan, or UAE, countries that actually imported the BJ40. Talk to someone on the phone as these are uncommon items for sure.
