Anyone have any interest in my project so I can get back into a cruiser?
I am not going to spend anymore time on my 74 project, so it's either being sold complete or parted out.
Everything except the tub and frame are basically brand new with 0 miles!
74 CJ5, 304 v8, HEI, Edelbrock intake truck avenger carb. T15/Dana 20
Power steering, Scout steering box. 1 ton TREs and .25 wall DOM tie rod and draglink.
Waggie 44 front, scout rear. Spool in the rear, detroit in front. Disc all around. 4:10 gears and all new seals.
Corvette MC, CJ7 booster, all new lines and crown flex lines.
Suspension is SUA, Waggie 44044s up front and CJ rear 2" lift springs. Wheelbase is at 90" Bilstein 5100 up front and pro comp out back.
The motor needs work. I think either rings and a bad lifter, but no compression on #4 and #5. All others are 160 or above. I can get you a 360 to drop in if needed. It is a short block that will need the heads put back together.
I also have an uninstalled np435, rebuilt by Novak with the dana 20 adapter and all new internals. comes with pilot bushing for AMC motor and shift....T176 bellhousing and shift fork. Plug and play. ($1500 new)
new front cross member where the shackles hang and rear cross member/ swing out. Rides on 85% 33" BFG muds (5) and white wagon wheels.
Drop in the motor and you'll be set...everything else is ready to wheel.
I have 7k in parts and axles etc not including the price of the jeep...so make an offer and it's yours. I can;t justify a project right now and the wife 100% agrees. every gasket and belt and hose has been replaced and has an optima red top.
Every part listed is 100% brand new, I just have no time to swap the motor right now. Lots more new stuff I am forgetting. Located in Richmond VA.
