acetone then sprayed bare metal matt clear coat on them to stop corrosion
That's definitely Nolen and John.
Wish all of us could have even one Nolen or John as clients. It would make this endeavor so much more enjoyable.

I’m just trying to learn because I have one…does anyone know if the factory painted the bolts originally? Not a slight or dig just an honest question. I think it looks great painted.
They were painted assembled from the factory so all the bolts were painted
I do not see the inside of eng compartment … did you go with original satin black under hood, lower fenders and firewall ... Stopped late 64 early 65
