12HT Questions

Hi all,

Just a few questions about a 12HT I've aquired for my 70.
I've been informed by the previous owner that he accidently put 3 litres of oil in the fuel tank . It apparently starts smokey and then runs fine.

I plan on sticking it in my 70 so will have clean fuel lines and be supplied with clean fuel. Also plan on changing the fuel filter and running through some injector cleaner through the system

What are your guys thoughts? Will after I do all that I've said will the engine be fine? its done 264,XXX's

Any other recommendations

This is the second 12HT I've put in a 70 , my other 70 now hauls !

I cant see it hurting at all ,I wouldnt even bother with injector cleaner.Just a good hard run will burn it all out.

I know....He blamed his missus

I'm on the south islands east coast and will be picking it up from over the west coast this saturday and driving it back. Should be a good run for the old girl
