I bought this from SWCruiser which he imported from Australia. I never had the time to do the install. Heck, I never even pulled it all the way out of the box he shipped it in.

Here's the link to his thread describing the tank. 100 series SubTANK

It smells like this tank used diesel in it's former life, so you'll need to deal with cleaning it out.

I paid $500, so that's your price.

I really, really don't want to ship.

I'm in Visalia (south of Fresno)

Do you have the filler neck too? I got in on this for my previous 80. Could you take some pics of the top of the tank? Does it have straps and Riv nuts?

I'm in Modesto.

It has the filler neck and straps. I'll try to take a picture tomorrow.

Sorry, busy week. I finally unwrapped everything and took some pictures.

Straps, Pump, Various Hoses

Dual Filler Tube

Filler Tube Opening

Filler Tube Depression
SWCruiser mentioned in his listing post that one filler tube had depression that shoulddn't affect filling. I didn't realize until today that mine was the one with the depression (dent).

Fuel Pump
Sorry, fuzzy

I've had some interest, but would prefer a face to face transaction rather than ship. (May have to get flexible on that)

Still available. I'm willing to drive as far as Hungry Valley OHV in Gorman, if anyone in SoCal is interested.

I'd like to check it out. Believe we met in Hanford. . Let me know if it's still available.

Thanks, Tommy

I'd really like to have this too, but I am about as far from you as I can get in SW FL. Please let us know if it is still avail and you are willing to ship.

Last bump before I break down and agree to ship.

Dont think i got an answer from this....
Im still interested.

Sorry, I answered a PM to someone else about this and thought it was you. No switch or wire harness. There's a thread in here somewhere about how to do it, but I never pursued it.

do you have the switch? is there are wire harness?

You might be better served using this tank as a transfer-type tank (a big jerry can, where you pump the contents of the aux tank into the main tank). The retro fit of all the electrics, etc., looks to e a PITA to get a complete factory install.

I would be all over this except I have already bought a dual fill neck from Japan4x4 for about $250 inc. shipping, and have decided that 13 gallons is not enough for me (and the 160L tanks from OZ are a bit big)

I think most do set these up as transfer tanks. They're not big, but then again, I only use two 5-gallon jerry cans when I head out. This tank holds more than that, has a lower center of gravity that putting cans up on a rack, and would let you transfer fuel to the main tank without having to get out and do it by hand. I just don't have time and skill to install myself.
