100 Series - standard headlights: bulb upgrade? (1 Viewer)

Where do I even start?

Standard (or what bulbs are currently fitted) are awful. No range or output. Even with full beam there's not much range.

I think my first shot would be to upgrade the bulbs so I have a new set in dipped and main. I'm not bothered about upgrading the parking lights. I also can't do an LED upgrade unless it changes the reflector and includes auto levelling - local laws.

From what I've seen of complete headlight replacements, they all seem to be plastic lenses. I'm not interested in Halo / Angel Eyes or having a rave generated from my lights.
(I do have rectangular IPF lights but both bulbs are blown and I'm not even ready to start looking at fixing these (but know they're 130w).......

Impressive! That's full beam not dipped? And do you have any spotlight / bar working in these images?

Sorry I'm not quite sure on the terminology. Those pictures are only the H1 projector, or what we would call low beam. Nothing else.

Which bit didn't you get?
Here we have park light (1st click on light stalk) then dipped (2nd click) and main (3rd click). Was just asking which beam you were showing but these pics seem to show the difference. Also asking if this was just the headlights or headlights AND spotlights and/or light bar. Do you not call them spotlights and light bars over there? Never knew!

I didn't get the dipped vs main beam. It's just low vs high here but I see what you mean now. Yes the first 2 were dipped then.
