100 Series OEM Floor Mats? Where are they? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

hopefully this isn't a stupid question, but did they make OEM floor mats for the 100 series? I've been looking for a while and I can't find any in the US. I really want to get OEM ones and not the weathertech mats.

Yes, they did.

It is my understanding that during the Toyota/Lexus "unintended acceleration" recalls (~2009) they were discontinued and were not redesigned/reoffered for an out of production model (100 series).

(Referring to the "All Weather" rubber mats, not the carpet mats)

It's strange how Toyota and Lexus discontinue stuff like this after around 10 years or so.

I think the oem carpet mats are discontinued for most Toyota products we have in the family that are older than 2006. My brother told me he bought one of the last new sets for my 2004 LS430 as a birthday present.

Carpet mats? I just found them available at my local dealer, $87 set of three. Just search under 2007 model year.

The all weather mats are indeed discontinued.

I picked up a set a couple of months ago. They say ivory / Oak but they are a little on the grey side. They are the exactly same color as the OEM ones that came on my 2004 LC.

I have found the new production are much thinner and cheaper than the originals. That acceleration thing really ruined those great heavy rubber backed OEM Toyota mats. I got a new set of OEM Toyota mats for my 2008 Avalon Touring and theY we’re no comparison to the originals in thickness and build quality. The backing cracked and split behind the thin carpet That is what has kept me away from ordering new ones for my 100
