alright that looks pretty rad. What's the final price going to be?
I'm hopeful no more than $60 shipped for the bracket. That will also include hardware for most extinguishers. I'm still trying to get that down though.

That's super fair. Are they stainless?
Yup. Brushed 304 stainless. Only downside is they all have scratches and such from being handled. They wouldn't be good enough for the fascia of a fridge, but I think the will do for this.
I am ready to buy one for $60, scratches be damned. How do I purchase one?
I'm also testing some secondary functionality of the mount. The idea would be you could order two, one for fire extinguisher and the other for this second function. Hopefully it works out nicely!
I need some customer input. Debating material/pricing for the big order.
Here's the options:
1) Brushed stainless like in the earlier photos that will have some scratching from handling. Will not have to worry about coating rubbing off if used as a MOLLE. Cost would be about $65 each and probably $110 for 2
2) mild steel with a nice black powder coating. Would possibly get scratched up but it's inside, so likely won't rust. Would be about $57 each and $100 for two.
If the stainless were a perfect finish, I think it would be a no brainier.
I want to know what you guys think, so please share!
I've vote bare steel. I have a tan interior, so I would spray paint it either way to match, as black looks weird with the "oak" (or whatever they call that color) interior.
Stainless, what's 8 bucks really? I think anything is going to get scratched and with this material you will never have to respray it, etc. If you scratch a piece of stainless you just rough it back up with a scotch-brite pad, right?
