Bad news for us all, but you should know this...... No such thing as a 100 series landcruiser...... I found out quite shockingly the other day at my Toyota dealer "the only authoratative source for all that is cruiser" when I asked for a set of "100 series front pads". The parts man informed me in between bites of his pbj sandwhich that there is no such animal.... sure of it in fact with his 20 plus years of toyota experience to back it up. I was able to get a set of pads for a 98 "landcruiser, which is not a 100 series"...... Sorry I had to be the one to break this to you guys.......

Is he getting confused with the T100 (pre-Tundra pickup)?

What a tool...

Im pretty sure I drive a 100 series cruiser... Thank you www.toyota.com for confirming me! Ya parts man is dumb, try asking Dan, I suspect he'd back up what www.toyota.com says, I drive a "100 series"!

All this time I thought I was driving a 100 series....dang....oh well. Someone should tell Toyota Corporate that their website it wrong.

Maybe he thought you wanted one hundred "series" brake pads, and he didn't have nearly enough in stock? :D

It struck me as absolutely insanely funny because this guy was so smug in setting me straight with his goober grape fueled wisdom!

I was busy and had just dropped around $700.00 on parts, so no time for a symantic argument, but I figured the least I could do was immortalize this poor fellow in the halls of this forum for a slight chuckle....... and also maybe for a little pitty....perhaps intervention could turn this mans life around.

The good news is this fellow has a "less experienced" counterpart who is good.....(probably more open minded about the possibility that a 100 series exist) and I get toyota parts at cost plus 10...... makes the occasional side act acceptable...
