I recently swapped the NAV system in my 2002 to a "3 knob" and have a few parts to get rid of. The system worked when I took it out, with a few exceptions/notes:
The NAV unit itself has some kind of discoloration in the screen. Looks like the outer layers of the screen have gone bad or something. Screen still works fine
Mainly, the screen will only display "Program disk is inserted" (all other functions besides nav work fine). I never tried to trouble shoot this and have no idea why NAV doesnt work or what needs to happen to fix it. No idea if this is a problem with the NAV ECU or the HU itself.
I also have the center console and interior compartment as well as the CD changer (I swapped mine for one that didn't have a CD changer to have more room).
