This will be a hard one to decipher without any video or audio, but I was down in Bishop over the weekend and hit some of the most aggressive washboard roads yet. In what turned out to be a complete undercarriage restoration, I decided to take everything back to stock form and all OEM parts minus Bilstein shocks (now wish I went with a reservoir design).
What I can best describe was a consistent clunk felt through the pedal and somewhere in the back of the dash panel/steering column. My first guess was sway bar linkage, but that was already replaced and addressed on the first off-road shakedown. Because I felt it in the gas pedal stumps me the most. Anything thoughts? Possible front differential bushing, engine mount, or even trans/t-case mount?? Depending on speed, it felt like it was metal on metal.
**PIC INTENDED ONLY FOR VISUAL IMPACT**
Undercarriage parts that have all been replaced in the last 5k miles:
Steering rack
Tie rod ends
LBJ
LCA
Steering shaft and linkage
Tundra brake upgrade
All new factory bushings/sway bar front to back
Rear UCA/LCA
Rear track bar
Shocks and coils
