Picked one up the other day and had a slight chance to ride it on the 4th for abt 45 min. Its a little sluggish on take off, wont idle but runs great when it hits the power band. I havent pulled the plug yet to see what it looks like so that may be all it is. The shop I purchased it from said they went thru it and it has good compression etc. One ? I have tho is if your sitting on the bike w/ your foot on the kick start the pedal eventually bleeds down with the weight of your foot on it. Not had one do that before. You can feel the resistance when you start and it starts on one kick once its warmed up. I've not ridden in a few years and my last bike was a earlier model KX250 w/o all the electronics on it.
anything I'm missing. There was abt half tank in it that the shop put in so I'm assuming the mixture is correct. Also, is there a AF mixture that you can ride fairly safely w/o fouling plugs quickly or do you have to just burn it out every once in a while?
